It was Entrepreneur First - a platform for pairing the future founders of the world’s leading tech companies that introduced the pair - It was a fourteen-hour conversation that started their journey of building Catapult.

The news we consume shapes the lens through which we understand the world. This divisive truth stuck with Rav from childhood and steered him to explore building decentralised systems of journalism. In 2016, he Founded Market Mogul and attempted to build the first truly decentralised media platform with 2500 contributors across the world. Blockchain had not reached the level of maturity needed, but it sowed the seed of easily digestible context that would inform Catapult

The son of an economist, Greg became interested in markets, incentives, and decentralisation at a very young age. He completed his PhD in mathematics and computer science as a Gates scholar at Cambridge. Here he worked problems foundational to our theory of algorithms, deepening his interest in decentralised coordination both as a researcher and in helping build markets in the developing world.
